PASSWORD (SPEAKING TASK)

 Hi everyone!!

The activity that I come to explain today, is an activity where we will work on speaking with our students and that is adaptable to any cycle of Primary Education. This is called PASSWORD.

The game of password is aspeaking activity that helps students review vocabulary and practice an important skill: describing something they don’t know the word for. It’s the perfect way to help keep some old words fresh in your students’ minds.

A simple example. Maybe you’re teaching vocabulary for the weather. The secret word is “snow.” Students can use other words they know like, “cold, white, not rain, ice rain, winter” in order to describe it. That’s a lot of vocabulary covered right there!

BOOK REVIEW (WRITING TASK)

 Hi everyone!!

I would like to share with all of you the following activity that we will use in the third cycle of Primary Education.

Children write a book review of a book they have read recently. It is important that you do the previous activities that I attach in the following link so that you can get that review in an effective way. The example book review as a model for their own. When they have finished they can check to see if they have followed all the top tips.

READING IN HALLOWEEN!

Hello everyone!!

I would like to share with all of you different activities which we can practice with the students at Halloween time.

The activity consists in that the students will receive an invitation letter to a Halloween party (to be held during class time), they must answer a series of questions after reading the invitation. Subsequently, students must carry out an activity in which they will listen to different words about Halloween things and they wil have to match them with the corresponding definitions.

ONE SMALL WORLD (LISTENING TASK)

 Good morning everyone!!

This activity that I present to you is carried out for students of the second cycle of Primary Education (3rd and 4th). It consists of listening to a song about the parts of the world and the different people who live in them. Later, if we have been attentive, we will have to guess which character corresponds to each country or city.

Once this interactive activity that can be carried out on the classroom digital whiteboard is complete, students must complete a file that will be related to the words that the song has said.
